Elmahbes celebrates the 49th anniversary of the Green March with a national festival that blends heritage and development, under the slogan: "Moroccan Sahara: Sustainable Development and Ongoing Achievements Towards the Future."

Elmahbes, in the heart of the Moroccan Sahara in the Asa-Zag province, is alive with a spirit of patriotism and pride on the annual anniversary of the Green March. This year’s edition of the National Green March Festival, supported by government entities and local and national councils, hosts an event that celebrates history while focusing on the vision for sustainable development in the southern regions.
